Dell David McCrary

ROY - Dave McCrary passed away peacefully, Friday, June 7, 2007 at Ogden Regional Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born September 27, 1933 in Salt Lake City, Utah, a son of Austin C. and Catherine S. McCrary. He attended Weber County schools. In 1963 he married Dorthy Jean Beal. They had one daughter, and then later divorced.

Dave served in the U.S. Army and Navy during World War II. He retired from H.A.F.B in 1979. He enjoyed his friends and family and was a wonderful father.

Surviving are his daughter, Penny (Rick) Bowcutt; grandson, Tyson David Bowcutt; one brother, Neil (Leora) McCrary; one sister, Linda (Tony) Gravitt; sister-in-laws, Florene McCrary and Iris McCrary and several nieces and nephews.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Wanda Bell McCrary and Lorna Steed, and two brothers, Bill McCrary and Gary McCrary.

Graveside services will be held Monday, June 11th at 12:00 p.m. at Roy City Cemetery, 2300 West 5200 South.

Friends may visit family at the Lindquist Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South on Monday from 10:45 to 11:45 p.m.
