SOUTH OGDEN - Our loving husband, dad, grandpa and brother, Dell passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at the age of 64, after 6 months of battling complications from cancer surgery.

Dell was born in Ogden to Werner R. and Marjorie D. West Stettler on October 23, 1949. In 1971, he married Susan Murray they had 2 sons and later divorced. Dell received his Bachelor’s Degree from Weber State College in 1972.

Dell met and fell in love with Vonda M. Andrus; they were married on July 17, 1981 in South Ogden, sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on July 18, 1998. Combined they have 5 children: Jim Noorda, Jeff (Jamie) Stettler, Chris Sather, Jeremy (Valerie) Stettler, and Nicole Sather.

He loved camping and fishing trips to Big Piney WY, water skiing and spending time with his family. For over 40 years he cherished his 1966 Pontiac GTO convertible. In his spare time he enjoyed going to auctions and finding new treasures. Dell loved his work as a Manufacturing Engineer at CB&I and enjoyed the people he worked with.

Dell is survived by Vonda, his loving wife of 33 years; Brothers, Bruce (Marcile) Stettler, Boise, ID and Brian (Nancy) Stettler, Clinton, UT; 5 children; 12 grandchildren and 2.5 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Dell was preceded in death by his parents and one grandchild.

The family would like to thank all the medical staff that cared for our beloved Dell.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.  Friends may visit with the family on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
