- Our mother passed from this life on Friday, May 28, 2010. While working hard to recover from a broken hip, she slipped away from us.

Mom was born July 13, 1920 in Talala, Oklahoma to Albert A. Webb and Maggie Mae Staton.

On May 12, 1935, she married Arthur "Jack" Greer in Bronaugh, Missouri. Work was always hard to find and a few years later at the bidding of Jacks brothers, they made the trip across country in 1941 to come and reside in Ogden, Utah. Jack passed away on November 28, 1994. She married William Wallace Brown on April 29, 1995.

Mom had many jobs in her life and finally ended up working and retiring from Hill Air Force Base.

Mom has three surviving children, Ethel (Andy) Puhl, Ogden; Robert (Beth) Greer, Clearfield; James (Linda) Greer, Hooper; ten grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 19 great-great-grandchildren; and her husband, William Brown.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, parents, brothers, sisters and two grandsons.

We would like to thank Family Tree Assisted Living and Thatcher Brook Rehab Center, and Hearts for Hospice for their kindness towards our mother.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, June 2nd at 11 a.m. at the Willard Precinct Cemetery.

A viewing will be held Tuesday from 6 to 8p.m. and Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:15 at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
