Delma Cloward VanDrimmelen-Elliot, 83, passed away Tuesday April 7, 2015 at her home in Taylorsville. She was born March 21, 1932 in Garland, Utah to Sarah Myrtle Huggins and Heber C. Cloward. Delma married Keith Ray VanDrimmelen February 20,1965, they later married in the temple. Keith Ray VanDrimmelen passed away on December 20, 2008. Delma married Richard William Elliot on September 15, 2010. Together they made their home in Taylorsville.
She is survived by her husband Richard William Elliot, Taylorsville; brother George Cloward, Oceanside CA; son Ronald S Barrett, Salt Lake City, UT; daughter Linda Webster, West Valley, UT; and daughter Adrienne VanDrimmelen Moore, Redding CA. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; nieces and nephews. She was welcomed to heaven by many family members including 8 brothers and sisters and one granddaughter.
Delma grew up and attended school in Provo, UT. The main places of her employment were Woolworth Dime Store in Provo UT, Safeway in Provo UT, Hill Air Force Base in Layton UT, and IRS in Odgen UT from which she retired in 1982.
Her hobbies were music and hand crafting items for gifts.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 11, 2015 at the Westbrook 4 th Ward, 6364 South 3200 West, Taylorsville, UT. 84129. A viewing will be held from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will be at the Bear River City Cemetery. Condolences may be shared at www.lindquistmortuary.com
