DeLone "Dee" Yeates Florence

DeLone “Dee” Yeates Florence DeLone “Dee” Florence of Roy, Utah passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on June 22, 2013. Dee was born December 31, 1929 in Logan, Utah to C.K. Yeates. On March 17, 1990, she married the love of her life, Leland “Lee” Florence, Jr. of Ogden. Dee and Lee share a very special eternal love. Together they have eight children, 30 grand-children, 45 great grand-children, and 4 great-great grand children. They loved to spend time together and with their families. She also loved to travel and fish (where she would usually out fish him). Dee was loved by everyone who knew her. She was actively involved in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and served happily in both the Primary and the Relief Society. Dee is survived by the love of her life, Lee; her daughters, Sharry Ewing of Ogden, Linda (Jerry) Kloose, and DeLone (Don) Larry of Weaverville CA; brother, Dean Griffin of Bend, OR; sister, Joan Merrill of Provo; and step-children, L. Kim (Jacci) Florence of Layton, Larry (Cathy) Florence of San Francisco, CA, David (Sharry) Florence of Roy, Kristine (Riley) Montgomery of West Point, as well as her precious lap dog, Scooter. She is preceded in death by her son Richard C. Broby of Boise, ID and her great grandson Brayden J. Gill of Vancouver, WA. Even though we are saddened and will miss her dearly, Heaven is rejoicing to have such an angel. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday June 26, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at the Monte Vista Ward located at 3845 S 2000 W in Roy, Utah. Friends may visit family from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
