DeLone Almond Keller

April 10, 1928 ~ July 13, 2016

DeLone Almond Keller, 88, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2016.  She was born on April 10, 1928 in Brigham City, Utah, the daughter of Joseph Crompton and Myrtle Mary Wardrop Almond.  She grew up in Brigham City, graduated from Box Elder High School, and attended Stevens Henager College.

She married Grant Byron Keller on September 7, 1950 in Elko, Nevada.  They later divorced.  DeLone settled in Washington Terrace and lived there for 58 years.

DeLone was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She was a wonderful homemaker and worked at Hill Field headquarters.  She became a senior companion at Golden Hours.

DeLone loved animals especially cats.

DeLone is survived by her sons, Warren (Susan) Keller, Washington Terrace; Kit (Sharon) Keller, Layton; and David (Olga) Keller, Syracuse; daughters, Cheryl (David) Larsen, Layton; Karen (Ken) Palmer, South Ogden; and Gael (Michael) Allegra, Salt Lake City; 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and two nieces.  She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, half sister, half brother and too many beloved animals to name.

Private family services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.  Entombment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
