Delores Russell McClellan

Delores Russell McClellan, 80, passed away on October 21, 2013 in Mesa, Arizona at the home of her daughter, of causes incidents of age. She was born on March 27,1933 in Taylor, Utah to Joseph Franklin and Marie Wintle Russell.

She married Owen James McClellan on September 23, 1953 in Ogden, Utah. Together they had three children. In September of this year, they celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary.

Delores was an accomplished seamstress and had created one of the most astonishing dolls collection in the state.

Delores is survived by her husband, Owen; children, Pam (Blake) Adams, Mesa, Arizona; and Bruce Joseph McClellan, Mesa, Arizona. She was blessed with eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Barbara (Maynard) Polkinghorn, Bellevue, Washington; Connie (Dick) Kimmell, North Bend, Washington; Marie (Dennis) Hogge, Ogden, Utah; and Jo (Stan) Heath, Fridley, Minnesota.

She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Douglas James McClellan.

Family is invited to gather on October 26, 2013 from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Graveside services will be held following at 3 p.m. at Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
