Delores Gay Brasier Stephens

Our loving mother, wife, grandmother, sister, and friend, Delores Gay Brasier Stephens, 61, passed away on October 25, 2013.

She was born in Twin Falls, Idaho on July 25, 1952 to James Clyde and Leah May Hutchins Brasier. She married the love of her life, Dee Allen Stephens, on December 16, 1972 and together they had two sons and two lovely daughters. She was proud to be a full-time wife, mother, and grandmother, and her family was always her priority. Her grandchildren were the light of her life.

Delores was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Over the years, she held callings as Primary President, nursery leader, Cub Scouts leader, Primary teacher, and visiting teacher. She was also an Honorary Member of the Utah Daughters of the Pioneers. She enjoyed plastic canvas, crocheting, and making various art projects with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her loving husband, Dee; sons, Brian Dee (Amber) Stephens of Brigham City and Kevin Dee (Shellsey) Stephens of South Ogden; daughters, Michelle Stephens and Stacie Marie (Brian) Bybee of Ogden; brothers, Roger (Betty) Brasier of Bountiful and Neill (Linda) Brasier of Bluffdale; sister Roberta (Greg) Gregory of Phoenix, Arizona; and grandchildren, Emily, Sophie, Kyle, Tyson, Dane, Bradyn, Tayson, and Kolton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Patricia Myers, and granddaughter, Caydannce.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the South Ogden 6th Ward, 4380 Orchard Ave. Family will meet with friends on Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., and Wednesday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.

Interment, Aultorest Memorial Park.
