Denese Miller Holden

Denese Holden, age 64, passed away peacefully yesterday, March 12, 2024, at her home with her husband Jeff by her side. Denese was born in Ogden to Ellis Marlow and Karna Emma Miller. She graduated from Bonneville High School in 1978. 

Denese worked at IHC for many years.

She had many interests, but her grandkids always took the top! Anytime she would call the first question was “Where’s my baby?”   She loved listening to them play while talking to them on the phone. 

Denese is survived by her husband, Jeffrey W Holden; her daughter, Randi (Justin) Merchand of Strafford, Vermont; and Martin (Breeanne) Holden of Garland, Utah; her grandchildren, Kody Lawrence, Jeffrey Tate, Evelyn Karna, Mitchell Roy, and Morgan Dale. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at 11 a.m. at the Uintah City Cemetery followed by a luncheon at the Uintah City LDS 1st Ward. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
