Dennis Lee Berglund

Dennis Lee Berglund joined his father and other family members on Sunday, October 14, 2007, at his home, surrounded by family.

He was born January 18, 1943 in Ogden, Utah to Frank Oscar and June Linford Berglund.

On November 3, 1967, Dennis married Martha Lydia Hanks in Logan, Utah.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where he served an LDS Mission to the Eastern States and various callings in the Lakeview Ward.

Dennis worked with his father, Frank, at Berglund Auto Body. He was also employed for 37 years at Utah Department of Transportation as a construction lab technician.

He enjoyed participating in and winning pinewood derby competitions, gardening, dutch-oven cooking, hunting, fishing, camping, driving his new Chevy Silverado and his new retirement toys. He loved his dogs and especially loved to tease his grandchildren.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Martha; four sons, Quinn Ryan Berglund, Derek Lee (Susanne) Berglund, Todd Justin (Diana) Berglund, and Frank Adam Berglund, all of Roy; two daughters Jean Marie (Randy) Frost, and Karen Teresa Berglund, all of Ogden; 12 grandchildren, two great-granddaughters, with another one on the way; his mother, June Linford Berglund Hunter; a brother, Paul L. (Lloydene) Berglund; and a sister-in-law, Hazel Berglund.

He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Oscar and a brother, Lynn.
