ROY – Dennis Richard Day, 67, passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2010, at his home, surrounded by his family. He was born May 21, 1943 in Brigham City to Robert Edwin and Erma Rasmussen Day. Dennis married Pamala Ann Farrell August 9, 1980 and their marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple. He retired from DDO/Hillfield in October 2002 after many years of service. Dennis was one to appreciate a good joke, prank or story. He was a strong man and very friendly, he made sure that everyone he met left with a smile or a good laugh. Dennis loved and enjoyed spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Pamala, his children, Jeffrey (Tina) Day, Roy; Dennis James Day, Clearfield; Philip Day, Roy; Randy McClain, Florida; Amanda Day, Roy; and Jeramie (Jessica) Day, Roy. Grandkids, Chandra, Shallisa, Matthew, Connor and Lily. Also surviving brothers, Robert Day, Ogden; William Day, Idaho Falls; and sister, Lois Evard of Texas. Preceding him in death is his son, Steven Day, his parents, father-in-law, Charles C. Farrell, two sisters, Betty Braegger, Doris Widders and one brother, Stanley Day. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Glen Biddulph and also Ellie, Brittney and Mike from Advocate Hospice. Funeral Services will be Monday, August 2, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South. Family and friends may visit on Sunday, August 1, 2010 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment at Willard City Cemetery.
