April 2, 1959 ~ April 26, 2015

Dennis Erdman, 56 was called home by God to serve beside his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday April 26, 2015.

A devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather, he awaits the reunion in Heaven, with the love of his life and high school sweetheart, Danna. Dennis served his country in the United States Air Force and as an employee at Hill Air Force Base, retiring as Branch Chief of the Composite Wing after a 37 year career.

Dennis was born in Spokane, Washington on April 2, 1959 to Raymond and Wanda Erdman.  His family settled in Valley, Washington and he graduated from Jenkins High School in Chewelah, Washington.

Dennis and Danna were members of Roy Christian Church since 1989.  During that time, Dennis served as an Elder, Ministry Leader for Building and Grounds and was very involved in various areas of Men’s Discipleship.  Dennis had a love for God’s Word and strived always to strengthen his understanding of it.

Dennis will be remembered for his hard work, integrity, ingenuity, and service to others.  He enjoyed spending time in the outdoors with his family, camping, hiking, and horseback riding.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Danna Oman; son Dennis Jr.; daughter and son-in-law, Danielle and Zach Rasmussen; and grandchildren, Dylan, Colton and Skyla; and sister, Connie (John) Murphy.

Dennis will be greatly missed by all his family and friends who loved him dearly. The family wishes to express their gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time.

A Memorial service will be held on Friday, May 1, 2015 at 5:30 p.m. at Roy Christian Church, 4347 South 1900 West, Roy, Utah 84067.  There will be a meal following the service and the family would like to invite all to the meal.  Services entrusted to Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial account has been set up in Dennis’ name at America First Credit Union.  Funds collected will be distributed to the International Disaster Emergency Service (IDES) and the Disabled American Veterans Charitable Trust Fund.
