Dennis Goudelock

Dennis Lee Goudelock, 76, passed away Sunday, December 17, 2017, at 2AM, with his loving and devoted wife, Janice, by his side.

Denny was born in Springfield, MO, to Charlie Goudelock and Mildred Pierson Hardy. He dedicated his life to his family and his active church life.

Denny was given the “Outstanding Civilian Career Service Award” upon his retirement, for a combined 40 years of U.S. Navy service and at Hill AFB. He was also awarded an American flag flown over the U.S. Capitol on the day of his retirement. Upon retirement, Denny started one of the greatest passions in his life, to be involved with the babysitting of his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Janice Goudelock; daughters Dawn Goudelock and Heather (Karim) Khader; son, Bruce (Monica) Goudelock; by his sisters Karen (Brent) Thompson and Sally Goudelock; by brothers Mark Goudelock and Gary Shull; and his beloved grandchildren are Paul and Robby (Kourtnee) Goins, Gabe and Charlie Goudelock, Ansley and Sadie Khader, and great-grandson Carsyn.

The family gives thanks to Chancellor Gardens Memory Care staff for their dedicated care, and to Comfort Worx Hospice for helping Denny in his last days.

Funeral services will be Friday December 22, 2017 at 2 pm at the Roy Christian Church, 4347 South 1900 West, Roy, Utah. The family will meet with friends from 6-8 pm, Thursday, December 21st at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South and Friday from 12:30 to 1:30 pm at the church.

Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road, South Ogden.
