Dennis McMurdie passed away on March 7, 2017.  He was born on May 5, 1934 to Samuel and Agnes McMurdie.

He married Betty Morriss in 1957 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He attended Ogden High School, Weber State College, and Utah State University.

He retired from Hill Air Force Base where he worked in Civil Engineering.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Betty; son, Garth; and brother-in-law, LaMar Shreeve.  He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, three sisters, two sisters-in-law, and two brothers-in-law.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, March 10, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.  No visitation will be held.  Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
