Dennis Jay Shisler, 71, passed away peacefully at home in Morgan, Utah November 1, 2018.
He was born December 4, 1946, in Barberton, Ohio to Eldo and Elizabeth Shisler. He was one of three boys.
After graduating High School at the age of 17, he joined The United States Navy. He served valiantly in the Vietnam War.
He worked at Firestone in Ohio and later moved to Utah. He was employed at DDO and then later at Hill Air Force Base as an Electrician on the C130s.
He was a member of Morgan Grace Fellowship.
Dennis loved the outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. A day in his fishing boat was a day well spent!
He had an even greater love for his family and friends!
He is survived by his wife Leeta, one son, Mark (Tiff) Shisler, one daughter, Denise Landry, two stepsons, Blake (Sandy) Winchester, Thayne Winchester, two stepdaughters, Tanya (Dan) Lord, Lucille (Jeff) Francis, 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, two brothers Dale (Nicki) Shisler and Doug (MaryAnn) Shisler.
He is preceded in death by his father and mother.
Friends and family are invited to attend a Military Service and Memorial Saturday November 10, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Dennis and Leeta’s residence, 605 North 700 East Morgan, Utah.
