Dennis Orville Talbot

Dennis Orville Talbot, 71, passed away peacefully at his home in Clearfield with his loving family by his side on April 20, 2011.

He was born on September 27, 1939 in Burley, Idaho, a son of Charles S. and Evelyn Taylor Talbot.

Dennis married Sharon Hale on January 7, 1961 in Elko, Nevada.

Surviving are his wife Sharon, two sons Doug (Char Brown), Rod (Gina), one daughter, Brenda (Jerry) Eddy, eight grandchildren, Lea (Colby) Davis, Nick, Mitch, Kelsey, Jordan, Amber, CJ, Kami, 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, Jack (Betty), Devon (Paula), Brent (Robyn); sisters, Lorraine (Reese) Facer, Gayle (Allen, deceased) Hale, and Myrna (Steve) Farrar.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son Gary Dennis Talbot; brother Donald (Pat) Talbot.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Clearfield City Cemetery, 1050 South State Street, where military honors will be accorded. Friends may visit family on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at Lindquist''s Clearfield Mortuary, 1050 South State Street.

The family expresses their appreciation and love to Lea Talbot Davis for her tender loving care for her grandpa. We would also like to thank Dr. Degraw, Dr. Poole, Dr. Robin Kim, his staff and all the doctors and nursing staff at Huntsman Cancer Institute and University Hospital for all of their loving care.
