CLEARFIELD – Denton Curtis Sealy, 83, passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2008. He was born December 7, 1924, in Thayne, Wyoming, the son of Leon and Rachael Olsen Sealy. He grew up in Logan, Utah, graduated from Logan High School and Utah State University with a BS Degree in Business Administration. He married Marva Obray on April 15, 1950 in Salt Lake City.
He served in the Army Air Corp during World War II. He was a member of the LDS Church and enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening. He maintained an immaculate yard.
Survived by his wife Marva, son Curtis L. (Julie) Sealy, Mantua, UT; daughters: Kayleen (David) Davenport, Nibley, UT; Dee Ann (Lee) Sorensen, West Jordan, UT; nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, brothers Milton (Shirley) Sealy, St. George, UT; Ramon (JoAnn) Sealy, California; and sister Angela Bird (Karl).
Preceded in death by parents, two sisters, Ruth Nielsen and Eva Summers, infant son Gregory Sealy, three nephews and one niece.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 19, 2008 at 12 noon at the Paradise City Cemetery, Paradise, Utah where military honors will be accorded. Funeral directors, Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road, Layton, UT 84041.
