DEON CAINE McNALLEY

Our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Deon Caine McNalley, 87, passed away peacefully at her home in Woods Cross, Utah on Wednesday, July 9, 2008. She was born September 6, 1920 to Benjamin Caine and Lucy Mable Shelton.

Deon was reared and educated in Wyoming. She married Lewis McNalley on October 4, 1937 and traveled with her husband who worked for Utah Construction Co. They lived in several states for short stays with his work. In 1942 they moved to a farm in Farson, WY where she became a farmer''s wife. After three years, the family moved back to her roots in Superior, WY. In 1957 they moved to Rock Springs, WY. After retiring in 1983 they moved to their current home in Woods Cross, UT.

She was an active member of the LDS Woods Cross 2nd Ward. She loved and supported her family throughout her life and attended many swim meets, basketball, baseball games, and school activities. She was a loving mother, grandmother and especially a loving great-grandmother. She loved all children. In the last several years she was a wonderful wife and caregiver to her husband.

She is survived by her husband; a son Ronald "Ron" (Connie) McNalley of Rock Springs, WY and a daughter Nancy (Anthony "Tony") Hopson of Bountiful, UT; four grandchildren Steve (Francesca) Hopson, Jana Adams, Michael (Julie) McNalley and Julie Seymour; and twelve great-grandchildren Halli, Hilari, Harrison, Branson, Olivia, Faith, Jordyn, Madison, Ryan, Dylan, Mallory and Matthew. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be held Monday, July 14, 2008, 11 am at Lindquist''s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. Friends and family may call Saturday, July 12, 2008 from 6-8 pm and 10-10:45 am prior to the services. Interment Bountiful City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers family requests donations to Primary Childrens'' Medical Center or other charity of choice.
