Devon was born March 29, 1996 in Layton, Utah to father Jerry Fletcher and mother Trisha Grooms. He grew up in northern Utah surrounded by his brothers and sisters and lots of friends. He had a big smile and a contagious laugh and was loved by so many.
When Devon got older, he learned to build and fix things, and loved to tinker with all sorts of electronics and vehicles. He helped family and friends with car repairs, tile work, plumbing, welding projects, and even created works of art out of scrap metal he would find. He enjoyed
cooking and spending time with friends, usually while listening to loud and heavy music, and loved to keep everyone around him smiling.
After high school he met Shawnee Sanders, and together they had two beautiful children, Draven and Ruby. The kids were the light of Devon’s life. He loved being a dad, and was his happiest when he was around them, playing and making them laugh.
In recent years, Devon met Tess, who loved and supported him and was down for any adventure. They had two dogs he adored, Saint and Djinn, and the whole group was planning to move to Arizona to be closer to the kids.
Our hearts are broken not to have Devon with us anymore. He was kind and sweet, charming and silly, and always quick to make friends because he loved so easily and so deeply. We’ll miss his laugh and his crazy stories and the joy he brought to all of us. For those who didn’t
get the chance to know Devon, just know that he had a big, loving heart, and he will be sorely missed and forever in our hearts.
Devon is survived by his two children, Draven and Ruby Fletcher, and his parents Trisha Grooms & Chad Martin, and Jerry & Jennifer Fletcher. Devon was a loving brother to his siblings, Shelby Fletcher (sister), Alexus Fronk (sister), Alexander Fronk (brother), Kelton Fronk
(brother), Ramona Startup (stepsister), and Polly Startup (stepsister). He also leaves behind former wife Shawnee Sanders and fiancée Tess Starks-Fletcher.
