Diana Lynn Elkins, 76, of Ogden Utah decided it was time to return to her heavenly home on July 6, 2023. She was born September 24, 1946 to Kathryn and Wayne Wynne.
Diana known to many as Di or Ana was the most loving and devoted wife Mother, Aunt, Grandmother and friend.
She graduated from Clearfield High school in 1964. She was very outgoing and involved. Diana has always been a very confident individual. She briefly attended Weber State where she met and married James Cook; they were together for 31 years before they divorced. She then married George Elkins and they have been together ever since. They were devoted to each other. They made their open and welcoming home here in Ogden. It is here they made many wonderful and fond memories together.
Diana worked hard for her children and involved herself in all that interested them. She loved and was proud of her grandsons they meant the world to her. She had many occupations throughout her life before she settled on becoming a Mortgage Broker she loved its challenges and worked extremely well with people and did this until she retired.
She was a very creative person; art, crafts, decorating and cooking. She seemed to be a master of all! When she put her mind to something it was always seen through to her exacting perfection. She gave all to everyone around her. She was a devout Christian and followed his teachings with all her heart.
She was preceded in death by her father, Wayne; grandfather, Karl; grandmother, Algie; brother, Wayne and mother, Kathryn. She is survived by her husband, George; sons, David & Michael, his spouse, Trisha; grandsons, Taz and Tate as well as her faithful dog, Opal.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday July 12, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd, Ogden Utah 84401. Friends may visit with family from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary.
In lieu of flowers the family would encourage donations in Diana's name to the charity of your choosing.
