Diana Lorraine Slay

February 27, 1953 ~ January 10, 2016

Diana Lorraine Slay passed away in her home, in Clinton Utah on Sunday, January 10, 2016. She passed in the arms of her son Taylor and felt no pain. She battled with heart and kidney disease for the past couple years and in the end it won.

Diana was born on February 27, 1953 to Fern Jones King and Ernest J. King whom have both preceded her in death. She was a graduate of Bountiful High School in Bountiful Utah.

She is survived by her husband, Theodore Charles Slay, with whom she was married to on August 28th, and who she has been with for over 42 years. Her children Sheri Johnson of Roy Utah, Christopher (Dia) Slay Sr. of Sunset Utah, Taylor Slay of Clinton Utah and Nicholas Slay of Sunset Utah. She has 15 grandchildren whom she loved and who loved her.

The graveside service will be held on January 18, 2016 at 2 pm. at the Brigham City Cemetery, 300 E. 300 S. There will be a luncheon to follow at the church on 5850 S. 2575 W., Roy Utah. Those who attend the graveside service are invited to attend the luncheon.

Diana loved all things purple. She loved birds and sitting on her back deck watching them as they nested and had babies in her beautiful tree. She had a red headed amazon parrot named Julio (after Julio Iglesias) that she loved and adored. She loved spending time with her grandchildren every chance she got. Diana will be greatly missed by her husband, children, grandchildren and friends. She was very active in the lives of those she loved.
