Diane Cottle

Diane W. Cottle

Dec 2, 1938 – June 21, 2017

A joyous reunion took place on Wednesday June 21, 2017 when our sweet mom left this earth and was reunited with our dad, who was the love of her life.

Diane was born in Garland, UT; December 2, 1938 to Glen and Erla Wilde. She married her sweetheart, Robert C Cottle, of Ogden, UT; October 3, 1955. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple.

Diane was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she held various callings and was grateful for the opportunity to do so.

She enjoyed holiday traditions, traveling, reading, with her greatest happiness coming from making memories with her family.

She was a wonderful mother, sister, friend, grandmother and great grandmother and will be missed dearly.

Diane is survived by her children, Terri (Blaine) Goodell, Robin (Brent) VanZweden, Kristine Bowen, Kim (Kelly) Ehlers, Mark (Heidi) Cottle and Kathy (Jared) Sholly, brother Lorin (Kaye) Wilde, 21 grandchildren and 23 1/2 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister, mother-in-law and brother-in-law.

The family would like to thank Hearts for Hospice, Dr. Mansfield and the Family Tree Assisted Living facility for the excellent care given to their mother during this difficult time.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 26, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.  Friends may visit family Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.  Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road, Layton.

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, Love leaves a memory no one can steal.
