Diane Hope

1946 ~ 2021

Diane Hope, 74, passed away at her home in Layton, Utah on April 28, 2021, with her fiancée Bruce by her side.  She was born August 2, 1946, in Ogden, Utah to loving parents. When Diane was four years old, she contracted polio and was in a wheelchair by the time she turned six years old. She attended school in Ogden, graduating from Ogden High School.

Diane married William S. Hope on February 16, 1974.  They were later sealed in the Ogden Temple. They traveled extensively together throughout the world.  She supported her husband while he played wheelchair basketball on a national tour.  They were both avid bowlers. William passed away in 2013.

Later, she met her fiancée, Bruce Wayne, who has lovingly cared for her for the past eight years, taking care of her needs and showing much love and compassion to her.  He will truly miss Diane and the love she has shown to him.  He was truly honored to have the opportunity to take care of her the past eight years.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband William.  She is survived her fiancée, Bruce.
