Dion Jay Hadlock
1943-2020
Dion Jay Hadlock, 77, passed away December 6, 2020 after a long battle with diabetes and heart disease.
Dion was born February 19, 1943 in the old Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah, to Dennis Gilbert Hadlock and Alma S. Stokes.
He grew up on a mini farm in Sunset, Utah. The family moved to South Ogden in 1960. Dion served on a work mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to Saskatchewan, Canada and the Pacific North West, Seattle, Washington.
His favorite hobby and pastime was photography and traveling with his great friend and identical twin brother Dean together on vacations, excursions, outings and expositions.
Dion worked at Hill Air Force Base and at Lake Side, Utah. He worked for the Davis County School District. He also worked for the Forestry Service for two years.
Dion had great patients with all the illnesses and challenges he suffered. He was soft spoken and non-complaining.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his twin brother Dean. He is survived by six siblings; Brent D. Hadlock (Connie), Karen LaNae Seaman (John), Stephen Lee Hadlock, Ann Marsha Horan (Jeff), and Christine Jenne (Stan).
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Bountiful City Cemetery, 2224 S. 200 W. Visitation from 10-10:45am prior at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. with Covid 19 restrictions.
