Dixie Rice

SUNSET – Dixie Lee Rice, 80, passed away Monday, July 15, 2019.

She was born on December 13, 1938 the daughter of Adust Clyde and Reba Lucille Daniels Bond in Chicago, Illinois.

Dixie married Leland J. Rice on November 11, 1989 in Rancho Tehama, Calfornia.

Dixie was the first female department manager for the Department of Agriculture.

She was a member of the Catholic Church and the Jaycee’s.

She loved horses, square dancing, dream catchers, painting and drawing.

Surviving are her husband, Leland J. Rice, Sunset; two sons, Christopher L .(Doreen) Young, Syracuse; Mark Leland Rice, Sacramento, CA; three daughters, Kimberley L. (Allen) Burch, Sunset; Rita Delores Boulilier, TX; Linda, Missouri; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, brother, Douglas Bond, Auburn, CA; and Suzanne, Auburn, CA.

Preceded in death by her parents.
