Dollie Arleen Simper Robinson Wright

Dollie Arleen Simper was born March 23, 1926 to Everett Ralph Simper and Ella May Charles Price and departed peacefully from mortality on Sunday, April 22, 2012 due to long standing medical difficulties and resulting disability. She was the eldest among the siblings; Everett Douglas, David Earl, baby brother Ralph and her parents have predeceased her.

She attended Irving Jr. High, South High School and graduated in southern California. She served in the civilian support effort of WW II refurbishing aircraft instrumentation at Norton AFB in San Bernardino, CA, where her family had settled. There she met and married Howard Lloyd Robinson and raised five children. She was a dedicated homemaker in the home, in which she designed and supervised its building. Her talents and hobbies were reading, ironing, housekeeping, gardening, counted cross-stitch and sewing, which were a great benefit to her family.

After the dissolution of her first marriage, she combined her family with that of Harold ''Hal'' Wright (''the love of my life'') and his three sons. They were married and sealed in the Los Angeles Temple on May 4, 1974. All of Dollie''s children were subsequently sealed to her in this union of seven sons and one daughter.

Dollie was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had unshakable testimony of the truths of the restored gospel and never wavered while raising her children. She served in the Young Women, Sunday School and as Relief Society President in two wards. She also served as an Ordinance Worker in the Bountiful Temple. Her main focus in life was on her family. Stephanie Chaffee''s devotion and help to Dollie during her disability was "all a daughter could be."

The combining of Dollie''s and Hal''s children led to an extended family that survive her; Rodney Lloyd, Howard Wade, Claudia Lane, Bradley Kurt, Victor Harold, Milton Jacob, David Albert; 38 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren with spouses, comprised 120 in number at her passing. She was preceded in death by a son Randall Scott. She will be sorely missed by her large family. Her most earnest desire was to be reunited with all these loved ones in the Celestial Kingdom.

Funeral services will be held 11 am Saturday, April 28, 2012 at the Mueller Park 3rd Ward Chapel, 1825 S. 850 E., Bountiful. Friends may visit with family Fri. April 27th from 6-8 pm at Lindquist''s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. and 9:45-10:45 am Sat. at the church prior to services. Interment Ben Lomond Cemetery, North Ogden, Utah.
