Dolores H. Clark
OGDEN – Dolores Leola Haizlip Clark, 77, died Monday, August 20, 2007 at Crestwood Care Center.
She was born July 1, 1930 in Culbertson, Nebraska, a daughter of Eulus LeRoi and Helen Marie Haller Haizlip.
Dolores married Kenneth C. Clark on December 31, 1949 in Evanston, Wyoming. Kenny preceded her in death on June 27, 1977.
She attended Ogden High School.
Dolores was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She enjoyed bowling and most of all, being a part of her family’s lives. Her grandchildren were the light of her life.
Surviving are two daughters, Sandra G. Hawkes, Ogden; Teddie Dee (Gunnar) Hanson, Roy; three grandchildren, Russell Hawkes, Gregory (Crystal) Hawkes and Sondra Christensen, and one great-grandchild, Aleia Hawkes.
Also surviving are her brother, Bud (Elaine) Haizlip, Apple Valley, CA; her sisters-in-law, Donna Wilson, South Weber; and Betty Clark, Ogden; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Dolores was preceded in death by her husband Kenny, her oldest daughter Karen “Charm” King, son-in-law, Russell King, and her parents.
The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the staff at Crestwood Care Center and Applegate Hospice.
Funeral services will be held Thursday evening at 7 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
Friends may call at the mortuary on Thursday from 6 to 7 p.m.
Interment, Liberty Cemetery.
