Dolores Faulkner Leishman Crockett
August 11, 1927 ~ April 27, 2016
Dolores “Dee” Faulkner Leishman Crockett passed away in her home in South Ogden, UT, the morning of April 27, 2016 at the age of 88. She is the oldest of 12 children born to Frank and Lucille Faulkner.
Dee was part of the second graduating class of Ogden High School, where she was voted “Most Beautiful Legs.” After a year at the University of Utah, she married Bill Leishman and eventually settled in Albuquerque, NM where the young couple established Leishman Interiors furniture store. She worked at the store for 38 years and was a member of the American Society of Interior Designers.
In 2000, she married fellow Albuquerque business owner, Edwin Crockett. After several years of marriage, the Crocketts sought to return to their common roots and relocated to South Ogden, UT, where she lived her remaining years. There, she enjoyed associating with nearby family, including her three sisters. Her children are greatly appreciative of her husband, Ed, who nurtured and cared for her in the twilight of her life.
