Dolores Miller

Dolores Stone Miller, 94, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2014 in Farmington. She was born January 20, 1920 in Ogden to Lawrence and Mary Ann Watson Stone.

Dolores married Thomas Miller; together they had three boys, Robert, Gary, and Dennis. They later divorced. She then married Virgil Miller; together they had two boys, Brent and Michael. Virgil and Dolores adopted a sweet Indian girl from the Nez Perce Nation and also had a foster child, Jeff Wong.

Dolores was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and worked in the Ogden Temple. She loved ceramics and spending time with her grandchildren and friends.

She is survived by sons Robert (Shirley) Miller, Gary Miller, Dennis (Sharon) Miller, Brent Miller, Jeff Wong; daughter Mary Ann Miller; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by both husbands and son Michael.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Rd. where friends may visit with family Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.  Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
