Don L. Andrews

Don Andrews passed away on November 24, 2014. He was born on November 8, 1920 in Des Moines, Iowa to John and Mary Andrews. Growing up in Logan, Utah he attended Logan High School and Utah State College as well as Weber State College in Ogden.

Don served in the Navy during World War II and participated during the invasion of Normandy along with the theaters of Africa, Okinawa and Japan.

Don married Clara Lundstrom in October of 1944. They were married for 67 years until Clara's passing in January of 2012. Don and Clara are survived by their five sons, Michael (Leslie), Kenneth (Kathleen), David (Ann), Christopher (Maureen), Kelly (Paula) and their families.

He was very active in sports. An avid golfer, he and Clara enjoyed many rounds of golf together.  A Big Sky Conference basketball and football official, Don was inducted into the Utah State Sports Officials Hall of Fame.  He retired from the Utah State Employment Services.

Graveside services for the family will be held on December 4, 2014 at the Logan City Cemetery.
