WEST POINT a€" Don Leroy Montoya, 57, passed away Thursday, May 17, 2012.

He was born November 4, 1954 in Stockton, Utah the son of Rumaldo V. & Cecilia Montoya.

Don married Esther Bravo Molina on November 8, 1986 in Layton, Utah. They are parent of three children.

Don is a Veteran of the United States Army. He served in the Vietnam War.

Surviving is his wife, children; Alexandra (Matthew) Montoya-Cipollone, Ellie (Darel) Montoya-Nakai and Don Jr. (Andrew) Montoya; three grandchildren; Darel and Navani Nakai and Connor Matthew Cipollone, siblings; Frances (Tony) Montoya, Ellie (Conrad) Abeyta, George (Blanca) Montoya, Montsey (Frank) Salamanca, Patsy (Donald) Jones, Mary (Gilbert) Maestas, Angie (Ray) Garcia and countless other family and friends.

Preceded in death by parents, two brothers, Jim (Joyce) Montoya and Tom (Josie) Martinez.

Mass of the Catholic Burial will be held Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at 10 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 210 So. Chapel Street, Layton. Friends may visit family Tuesday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Holy Rosary at 7:30 p.m.

Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
