Dona Mae Daggs
ROY a" Dona Mae Daggs, 88, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, June 13, 2010 surrounded by her loving family.
Dona was born June 29, 1921, one of four children, to Phillip Kellogg Sr. and Ivy Jensen, in Salt Lake City, Utah. She moved to Maryland, attended, and graduated from Tech High School in Washington D.C.
On June 12, 1946, she married Jack Daggs in Mt. Rainier, MD and was later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They were married for 64 years.
Dona was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings. She and Jack served a mission in San Diego, CA.
Surviving are her husband Jack and five children, Terri (David) West, VA; Jack (Laura) Daggs Jr., UT; Kelly Fricke, CO; Randy (Theresa) Daggs, NV; Donald (Kathi) Daggs, TN; 22 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are one sister and one brother, Alice Kennedy and Ronald Kellogg.
Dona was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Phillip Kellogg Jr.
Special thanks to Hospice for Utah, the Roy 11th Ward, and their many friends and neighbors for the excellent care and attention given to Dona.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
Family will visit with friends at the mortuary on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.
Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.
