Dona Rae McEntire

Dona Rae McIntire PLEASANT VIEW – Dona Rae VanDrimmelen McIntire, 79, died Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at her home in Pleasant View. She was born March 5, 1930 in Ogden, a daughter of John Gerrit and Gladys Bartyn VanDrimmelen. Dona married Joseph McIntire in 1948. In 1979 they moved to Northern California where they resided for 20 years. After Joe’s death in 1994, Dona returned home to Utah. She enjoyed reading, bowling, playing bridge and golfing. Dona was on both the A and B Team at the Ogden Golf and Country Club. In her lifetime she had two Hole-in-Ones. Surviving are two daughters, Connie Crosbie, Pleasant View; Tammie Bitter, Roy; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Also surviving is one sister, Kay (George) Hornbuckle, Bear Lake. Graveside services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Ogden City Cemetery.
