Donald E. Chapman

Donald E. Chapman, 84, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, October 12, 2014. He was born August 7, 1930 in Ragley, Louisiana to Charles and Dycie Parker Chapman. He married Betty A. Parrott on April 11, 1950 in East St. Louis, Illinois and they were the parents of two daughters.

Donald retired from the US Air Force after serving in both the Korean and Viet Nam wars. He then worked for the Northrop Corporation until a second retirement.

He was active in the Baptist Church, the V.F.W. and enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling.

He s survived by his wife Betty, daughters Roxanne (Ed) Green and Donna (Mike) Gallagher both of Layton; eight grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Charles.
