Donald Douglas

Donald Douglas, 92, of Kaysville, Utah passed away January 13, 2018.

He was born to David and Hilda Douglas, January 4, 1926.  Don grew up in old Granger in Salt Lake County.

Don completed an apprenticeship in carpentry and worked for various companies until he found his work home at the University of Utah, where he loved the atmosphere and the Daily Chronicle.

Don married three times, Joyce Bawden (deceased) gave him four children, Kay Schmidt (deceased) and current wife Deona.

Don loved fancy chickens and was a long time active member of the Utah Poultry Association frequently winning top awards.  He loved talking politics and hearing of his children careers and adventures.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, January 18, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Ogden City Cemetery.  Friends may visit family Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
