Donald Robert Farrell passed away October 11, 2010. He was born in Redwing, MN on May 15, 1938. He moved with his mother and grandparents to Utah in 1945. Married Paula Ann Neiderheiser on February 20, 1958. Don and Paula celebrated their 50th anniversary in 2008. They had three children, David, Christine and Teresa. Don worked at Unisys in SLC, UT for 32 years before he retired, moved to Minnesota where he started Farrell''s Electronic Service. In 1999, Don and Paula moved to McCammon, ID to be closer to their children and grandchildren.

In 2005, Donald was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, which he courageously fought for 5 A½ years with the help of the doctors and nurses at the Huntsman Cancer Center in SLC. He died of heart complications.

Survivors include his wife, Paula, children, David Alan (Brenda) Farrell of Kaysville, UT; Christine (Michael) Nelson of Pocatello, ID; and Teresa (Curtis) Miller of Tucson, AZ; six grandchildren, Jeremy (Amberleigh) Farrell, Rachel (Dustin) Orgill, Natalie (Conrad) Pollard, Ryan Farrell, Matthew (Ashlie) Farrell and Michele Nelson, 11 A½ great-grandchildren, brothers and sisters.

Don loved working on electronics and began his craft at age 15 that lead him into his own business years later which he had for 25 years. He loved reading, gardening, camping and being with his family.

A memorial service will be held Monday, October 18, 2010, at 11 a.m. at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 215 N. 18th Ave, Pocatello, ID.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations be sent to the Huntsman Cancer Foundation, 500 Huntsman Way, SLC, UT 84108 (restricted to Pancreatic Cancer) or to the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Pocatello, ID.
