Donald Alton Filbert passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2018 due to surgery complications. He was born on March 14, 1935, in Los Angeles, California, the son of Alvey and Sarah Filbert.

He joined the Navy and after being discharged went to school to become an electrician.

Donald is survived by his son, Jerry Filbert; daughter-in-law, Debby Filbert; his sister, Linda Feed; brother-in-law, Bob Feed; and his wife, best friend and long companion, Ann Van Der Meer, as well as two stepdaughters, Sherry and Yvonne; and one stepson, Lee.  He was preceded in death by his parents and two sons, Ronnie and Ernie.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 7, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Uintah City Cemetery, 1500 E 6450 S. Friends may visit with family on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
