Donald James Flitton

KAYSVILLE - Donald James Flitton, 77, beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away Monday, April 25, 2011 surrounded by his loving family.

He was born March 13, 1934 in Salt Lake City, Utah the son of Parley John and Sarah Chadburn Flitton.

Donald married Colleen Joyce Moore on October 6, 1952 in Elko, Nevada. She preceded him in death. He married Karen Lee Farr Hulse on June 4, 2003 in Kaysville, Utah.

He was a member of the LDS Church and Elks.

Donald enjoyed golfing, camping and traveling.

Surviving are his loving wife Karen, sons, Dan (Christine), Jerry (Liz), Jeff (Natalie), Chris (Yvonne), brother, Glen Flitton, Dale Flitton, sister, Elnor Oblad Childs, 32 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his wife Colleen Flitton, parents, one brother and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 29, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends and family may call Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
