DONALD NELSON HALL

It is with deep regret we grieve the loss of our husband, father, grandfather and friend. Donald Nelson Hall passed away on August 18, 2014 from a courageous fight with cancer. Don was born on March 24, 1942 to Don Woodsey Hall and LaRue Nelson Hall in Salt Lake City, Utah, where he was raised and educated.
He was a Sales Engineer, retiring from C.H. Spencer & Company as their Sales Manager. He was a proud member of the Bonneville 31 st F & AM of Utah and past Potentate of the Shrine of Utah in 2010. Don was involved in and supported various projects for the Shriners Hospital. He was a proud member and past president of the Clown Unit.
Don had a great zest for life and wherever there was a need, he filled it. Don married the love of his life, Joye Banks Hall, in April, 1991. Their love for history included: civil war re-enacting, extensive travel, and traveling in their trailer. Don was devoted to his family, taking grandchildren camping, fishing, trips to All a Dollar and the DI’s. He always had fun toys for them to ride and loved including the neighborhood children. He was considered “Grandpa” by many.
