Donald George Hanselman

Donald George Hanselman passed away Friday, May 3, 2019 at McKay Dee Hospital after a short illness.
He was born in Sherman, Michigan on April 19, 1936 to Harold and Ester Hanselman. He was a member of the United States Air Force and served in Korea obtaining the rank of Staff Sergeant. After his discharge he worked at Hercules Aerospace, Hill Air Force Base, and UTA Handi-Trans. He married Leanore Hanselman in 1957 and had two children, Robert and Thomas Hanselman. They were later divorced.
Later he met and married the love of his life Lois Hanselman. She passed away on December 3, 2010.
Don’s greatest joy came from his two sons, Bob and Tom; five grandchildren, Katreasha, Jodie, Megan, Garet, and Gavin; three great-grandchildren; and grand-nephew, Dakota Castile. A close second was his dog of 16 years, Maisy. He enjoyed golfing, square-dancing, and apple fritters. He was a regular blood donor and donated over 1000 pints of blood during his lifetime. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois; his parents,and a sister, Erma Seussmouth.
Friends and family can pay their respects at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Ogden, Utah on Saturday, May 11, 2019 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
