HOOPER a€" Our son, husband, father, brother and friend, Donald "Donnie" G. Tallman, Jr., 46, passed away Monday, February 11, 2008 at McKay-Dee Hospital following a courageous battle against brain cancer.

He was born June 7, 1961 in Ogden, to Donald G. Sr. and Carolyn Holden Tallman. He was raised in Ogden and attended the Ogden City Schools graduating from Ogden High School in 1979.

Don married Tammy Ames Spiers in Ogden on June 2, 1990. He was the very proud father of four sons, Tyler, Brian and twin boys Nate and Nick.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He worked for various construction companies until he fulfilled his dream of owning and operating his own business, Tallman Construction Company. He loved working with wood and building things.

Don had a great sense of humor and loved to joke around. But above all, he loved his family.

Surviving are his wife and sons, his parents, sister, Kelly (Ronald) Streeper, two nephews, Jeff and Jared, and many special cousins, uncles and aunts. He had many friends who will miss him dearly, too.

Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Jack and Ruby Holden and his nephew Ryan Streeper.

His family is very thankful to all those who have helped him during this trying time, especially all the doctors and nurses who cared for him.

We will miss you Don!

Graveside services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.

Friends and family may call at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Don G. Tallman, Jr. Fund at any America First Credit Union.
