Donna Eleta Allison 1936-2013

Donna Eleta Allison, 77 of Bountiful, joined her family and friends in Heaven, Sunday November 17, 2013, after complications from heart surgery.

Donna was born January 21, 1936 in Oakland California and grew up in Southern California, where she married and raised her children.

Donna loved life and shared her time and talents with those around her. She worked and participated in many different fields, including her most passionate, being the President of the Guild at St. Francis Medical Center in Lynwood California, where she planned and organized charity events and volunteer work. Later, after moving to Utah, she worked for Nordstrom until she retired. She was patriotic and spontaneous. Her passion for travel took her to many amazing and beautiful places. Among her favorites were Hawaii, where she lived briefly, Jackson, Wyoming and her "home" California.

As a mother, and only child, Donna instilled the importance of family in her children. She exposed them to many wonderful things, creating happy, long lasting memories.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Embry Vick, Corinne Nell Posey and granddaughter Tara Lynn Allison and is survived by her four children, Troy Allison (Debbie), Tim Allison (Natalie),Vicki Allison, Disa Dalla (Troy), their father Tom Allison and her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

As per her wishes she will be cremated. A Celebration of Life will follow at a later date. Services entrusted to Lindquist''s Bountiful Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, please take this opportunity to spend a day at the beach with your family. The family wishes to thank South Davis Community Hospital for their care.
