Resided in South Ogden, Utah while most recently residing in Layton, Utah. Donna T Fitches Brimhall passed away at the age of 90 on January 31, 2020.
Born on the 7th of November in 1929 to Kirtley E. Tucker and Mary Hatch.
As a child Donna lived in Clawson, UT with her extended family while her father worked. She was determined, charitable, loyal, strong, focused and loved the Lord. Donna’s first husband was Ellis Clyde Fitches whom she married on the 4th of May 1945 in Salt Lake City, Utah. They raised their two children; Penny and Jody, in Downey, CA and Whittier, CA and returning to Utah after Ellis’s tragic passing. She returned to Utah and lived in Kaysville, UT. She was blessed to marry Keith H. Brimhall on the 3rd of July 1983 in Ogden, Utah. After Keith’s passing she moved to South Ogden where she enjoyed creating great friendships with neighbors. She was always willing to help anyone at any time. She had an incredible talent for finding deals on just about anything and that talent helped many people. As a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints she held various callings teaching and serving those around her. Keith and Donna served 2 missions. From 1984-1985 they served in the Monterey, Mexico as an office couple. They loved the missionaries and the people. In 1986-1987 they served in the Mesa, AZ visitor center – Spanish speaking. Donna served in the Temple as well for many years as well. Her desire to learn was instrumental to another talent she had; that of, Ancestral work. She worked many years for the Stake assisting so many and for her own personal family history. Donna also enjoyed Oil Painting, Sewing, People, wood crafts, knitting and most of all her animals.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Kirtley and Erma Tucker, Mary Hatch Oakley; husband Ellis Clyde Fitches, husband Keith H Brimhall, children Max Brimhall, and Ann Brimhall.
Donna is survived by her two daughters: Penny Fitches (Sessions) and Jody Fitches (Hill); Keith Brimhall Jr, Rey Brimhall, Louisa Brimhall; her sisters: Rhea Ledingham, Dorothy Justensen, Marge Bryden and Pat Mower. Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will miss her sloppy kisses and the most amazing hugs.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main. Friends may visit family Saturday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.
Interment, Elysian Burial Gardens Cemetery, 1075 E 4580 S, Millcreek, UT 84117.
