Donna Mae Endrizzi Coleman

December 26, 1933 ~ June 1, 2021

North Ogden, Utah – Donna Mae Endrizzi Coleman passed away on June 1, 2021. She was born to August and Winnie May Dustson Endrizzi in Ogden, Utah. She was the second daughter to Winnie and Gus and was a welcome addition to their growing family. She was the light of their lives in every way. Her easy going, delightful disposition added joy to their lives and continued to do so for all that knew her. She loved to follow her dad around the garden, watching him plant and work. She was an outdoor girl and that attribute continued all through her life.

She attended Ogden High School, Weber College and then graduated in Education from Brigham Young University. She taught elementary school in Provo City Schools and in the Weber County School District. She loved teaching children and was always bringing nature into the classroom.

Donna married the love of her life, Ray W. Coleman in the Salt Lake Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on August 27, 1956. Ray would say he was the lucky one. Donna had a special talent for seeing the positive side of life, enjoying the moment, and getting through any situation. This trait served them both well as they completed several missions together in Sharon Vermont, Kirtland Ohio and at Temple Square. As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served faithfully in many church callings throughout her life, always accepting challenges as they came along.

She loved swimming, snorkeling, biking, hiking and traveling. She was always happy to plan, prepare and execute family vacations. She loved the ocean and made sure that vacations included memorable activities around sea life. Nature walks with the grandchildren will be some of their most cherished memories.

Donna had a quiet, kind persona that radiated from her smile. She was unassuming; it was often surprising to see what she accomplished behind the scenes. You could always count on her to help when you needed encouragement.

Donna is survived by her husband, Ray; her four children, Cathy (Kurt) Gammill, Ray (Michelle) Coleman, Brian (Cindi) Coleman, James (Stephanie) Coleman; 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Theo Endrizzi and her sister, Melba Endrizzi.

The family wishes to thank the staff of The Lodge at North Ogden and Encompass Home Health for their compassionate service.

Family services will be held. Interment, Ben Lomond Cemetery, North Ogden. Services entrusted to Lindquist''s North Ogden Mortuary.
