Donna L. Haynes

Donna L. Haynes August 12, 1952 ~ February 16, 2008 NORTH OGDEN – We have suffered a great loss, but are rejoicing that Donna has entered the gates of Heaven to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Born in Texas in 1952, Donna moved to Alaska at the age of two, where her father started a Baptist mission. Donna married John Haynes II, in August 1969. They lived in Anchorage until August 2007 when they moved to North Ogden to spend their retirement years. Donna, an adventure seeker, enjoyed scuba diving, sailing, fishing, snowmobiling, skiing, four-wheeling, mountain biking, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was also a very accomplished pianist and a wonderful cook. Donna’s belief in the Lord, and her work here on earth was a testimony of her strong faith. She has touched the lives of so many and she will be unendingly missed and in our hearts forever. She is survived by her husband John Haynes, II, children John III and Kabita Haynes, Alissa and Shane Voliva, Ryan and Randi Haynes, her grandchildren Chandler, Neelima, Priya, Philip, parents-in-law John Sr. and Juanita Haynes, father Don White, mother Joan Tritt, siblings Debbie, Donny and David. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 20 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 North Washington Blvd., with Pastor Ron Schrock, former Pastor at Grace Baptist Church, Alaska, officiating.
