Donna Hogge passed away peacefully after a lingering illness on Sunday, June 3, 2007. She was born April 12, 1919 in Eden, Utah, the daughter of Charles Alexander and Lyda Elizabeth Fuller Hogge. She attended school in Eden and Huntsville and graduated from Weber High School and LDS Seminary.

She attended Weber Junior College and Brigham Young University where she earned her Bachelors Degree in 1941. After teaching four years, she earned a Masters degree in Physical Education at Utah State University in 1948. She taught one year at Snow Junior College in Ephraim, Utah and then accepted a position at Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho. She retired from ISU as a Department Chairman in the College of Physical Education about 36 years later. During her years at ISU, she choreographed musicals and directed dance productions.

She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many capacities in different organizations. She loved being a Temple Worker at the Idaho Falls LDS Temple for many years and was very involved in family genealogy.

Although she never married and had no children of her own, she occupied a very special place in the lives of her many nieces and nephews and their children. She will be missed by her family and her many friends in Utah and Pocatello, Idaho.

She is survived by her sisters, Marelda Cutler, Ethel Bullock and brother, Elmer Hogge (Betty). She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Melvin, Floyd and sister, Bethene Hogge.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 7, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Hearthside Chapel, 5612 E. 2200 No., Eden, Utah. Friends and family may call Thursday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the chapel.

Interment, Mt. View Cemetery, Eden, Utah.
