Donna Marie Kiesz

Donna Marie Kiesz Donna Marie Kiesz, 64, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 30, 2011. She was born on February 2, 1947 to Keith James and Majorie Lucille Carver Burkdoll in Glendale, California. She was a very loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be dearly missed. Donna was raised in Ogden and graduated from Ben Lomond High School in 1966. In 1963, she met Rene Lee Kiesz at a party and they were married in December of 1966. She worked for many years in retail sales at Fred Meyer Department Store. Donna loved dogs, enjoyed knitting and crafts and was fond of murder mysteries. Most of all, she loved her family and really enjoyed her grandkids. She is survived by her husband Rene Lee Kiesz, daughter DeJon (Russell) Bird, son Paul (Giniva) Kiesz, five grandchildren, and brother James Keith (Julie) Burkdoll all of Ogden. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, and her father-in-law Alfred John Kiesz in January of this year. Cremation entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to any branch of Golden West Credit Union in the name of Donna Kiesz.
