Donna Rae Parkin

Donna Rae Parkin Donna Rae Henrie Parkin, 77, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2009 in Bountiful, Utah. She was born May 30, 1932 in Salt Lake City, Utah the daughter of William Dulane and Arvilla Agusta Burnham Henrie. Donna lived in Driggs, Idaho and Bountiful, Utah graduating from Davis High School where she met her sweetheart Don Moss Parkin. They were married October 20, 1951 in West Bountiful, Utah and later sealed in the Bountiful LDS Temple. They lived in Bountiful, Rock Springs, and settled in Farmington. Following Don ‘s death in 1989, she moved to Bountiful. She was a member of the LDS Church. She was an avid jewelry shopper, enjoyed going to lunches, operas and plays, with her sister, daughter, and friends. She is survived by her son Greg H. (Ellen) Parkin; daughter Cindy (Kolyn) Stanley; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; brothers Dale Henrie, Jim (Kathy) Henrie, and sister Winnona Johnson. Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, grandson Breck Jones, and sister Wanda Parkin. Funeral services will be held 2 pm Monday, July 13, 2009 at the Davis Creek 2nd Ward, 1395 S. 200 E. Farmington. Friends may call Sunday from 6-8 pm at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. and Monday from 1-1:45 pm at the church prior to services. Interment Bountiful City Cemetery.
