Donna M. Stockton passed away unexpectedly at her home in Kaysville, on Wednesday, July 20, 2011. She was born January 12, 1938, in Grand Junction, CO; to Carlos and Mary Trujillo. She moved to Utah at an early age and lived in Ogden, East Carbon City and Kaysville.
She married Eufracio Vigil in December, 1956, and though later divorced, they remained lifelong friends. She married Donald W. Stockton on January 5, 1974 in Las Vegas, NV. She retired after 21 years of Civil Service in Washington, D.C. and Hill AFB.
She enjoyed traveling, reading, working puzzles and dining out. Donna visited 49 states and 24 foreign countries on three continents. She especially enjoyed the service and company of her good friends at both Denny''s and the Sizzler in Layton.
She is survived by her husband, Don, of Kaysville; and children Tony (Tanya) Vigil, Ogden; Steve (Danny) Stockton, Phoenix; Teresa (Tom) Boney, Farr West; and Mark (Kerry) Stockton, Atlanta; nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Carlos Jr., sister, Lena and her beloved grandson TJ Boney and great-granddaughter, Anaiya Boney.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at 9 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 210 So. Chapel Street, Layton. Friends may visit family on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main.
Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
