LAYTON a€" Donna S. Thurgood, 93, passed away Monday, December 17, 2012.

She was born December 4, 1919 in Lago, Idaho the daughter of John C. and Minnie Lindsay Sorensen. Donna married Roy E. Thurgood on October 8, 1940 in the Logan LDS Temple.

Surviving are her son Craig (Lynette) Thurgood, daughters DarLene (Ken) Holback, Diane (Allan) Asplund, Linda (Dennis) Gibson, Jerilyn Radman, brother-in-law Carl Thurgood and two sisters-in-law, Effie and Donna.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband Roy, sister Marvel, two brothers, Russell and Grant: and also brothers-in-law, Vern Thurgood, Dale Thurgood: and sisters-in-law, Doris, Norma and Zola.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 21, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family Friday from 9 to 9:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Cloverdale Cemetery, Boise, Idaho.
